Open Rides for Women

Join us on a ride!!
Come out and ride with the finest women’s cycling team in Oregon. The Poplollies have started a new tradition in Eugene, the Monday Night Women’s Ride, which is open to the public. All women are welcome - regardless of skill level. Rides will vary in length and difficulty. All rides will be posted with estimated length, duration, and difficulty level, but generally will be pretty tame, and safe routes will be chosen. We will also post maps of all the rides so you can see where we will be going before you get on your bike. There will be 2 or 3 Poplollies on each ride with you, so you can ask them questions, get advice, and enjoy some fresh air.

All participating cyclists will have to wear a helmet, no exceptions.

The Monday Night Ride
The Poplollies are leading the Monday Night Women’s Ride to encourage other women to get out and have fun, to get some exercise, to foster new friendships, and to enjoy riding their bike.

The “Thursday Nighter”
The Poplollies would also like to invite any women interested in a harder workout/race-paced ride to join us on Thursday’s group rides, which are also open to all women. The “Thursday Nighter” will be more of a race oriented ride. Slower riders are welcome if they want to come out, but everyone will be responsible for themselves, unlike Monday’s ride in which everyone will be looked out for and not left behind. The Thursday Nighter is about a 30 mile ride with a fast pace. Here is a general printable ride map
