“Top-notch employees & over-the-top service! Excellent information, willingness to answer questions and assist with any concerns I may have. Great products with advice on how to best utilize the hardware on the cycle I currently own. Justin, Gilad & Lee are the pinnacle of friendliness with pertinent information for my cycling concerns and overall phenomenal cycling expertise! By far a great business to frequent if any type of cycling is on your agenda.”

Friendly and Very Knowledgable
“Had Justin and his crew put together my Salsa Spearfish Mountain Bike the staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, they also calibrated the bike to make sure it would accommodate me, there's absolutely no doubt I would recommend this store for any big ticket purchase, I felt very confident leaving the store. I look forward to picking up a carbon fiber bike very soon.”

Would Recommend To Anyone
“Me and a friend stopped at LifeCycle while on a mountain biking road trip. We knew very little about Eugene. The owners, Gilad and Geoff, were extremely welcoming and forthcoming with insider information about the area, and sent us on an awesome ride. I would recommend this shop to anyone.”

Life Cycle Delivers
“I recently bought a nice full suspension mountain bike from Life Cycle and am extremely satisfied. I chose Life Cycle because they were one of the two shops in town that sell Santa Cruz bikes and, more importantly, they have Justin (one of the owners). Justin is an excellent salesman, and by that I mean that he is personable, extremely knowledgable about his products, and was able to help me make a buying decision that I remain happy with well after the sale. Plus he was never at all pushy. We ordered a stock bike from Santa Cruz and then upgraded the weaker components as needed. After giving it a real test ride on a trail, I brought it back to have a few things changed and adjusted, which he and his mechanic Steve were perfectly happy to do. The bike is sweet and I feel confident that Justin will continue to take care of any issues that might come up. The only problem with Life Cycle is that they can be quite busy at times, but when you think about it, they are busy because they do a good job and their customers keep coming back. You should be concerned if a bike shop is empty. I've read a review that says Life Cycle seems snooty or too racer oriented, but if you spend a little time there you'll find it's not true. They do have a lot of racers come in the shop, but they also have a lot of regular riders and new riders too and they are warm and welcoming to all. If you had a bad experience, give them another shot. Everyone has a bad day now and then. Life Cycle isn't the only good bike shop in Eugene, but being the "best" isn't important or even really measurable. I want a shop that knows more than me about bikes, charges fair prices without nickel and diming me, and will stand behind their work and their merchandise to make sure the customer remains satisfied well after the sale. Life Cycle delivers.”

Favorite Bike Shop In Eugene!

“I've been charged fifty dollars for a simple tune-up and grudging help with my Schwinn, at another Eugene shop. Not at Life Cycle. Everyone was super friendly, my bike was fixed while I waited and the cost was more than reasonable. Thanks!”

Can't Thank Them Enough
“These guys rock! They helped me get my bike into working order with a lot of care, humor, and expertise. When the bike did finally break (the frame cracked) I went around town to all of the shops that I knew to see if it could be fixed. Every shop, four in all, told me to scrap it, and one offered me eighty bucks to strip all of my components off of it and sell them. I was super depressed about it, my ride for years had broken a bone and no one could fix it. I walked it across town back to LifeCycle to ask their advice, I knew they wouldn't buy a broken bike, but I needed some guidance. "Why don't you just get a new bike?" They asked. "I am a student and cyclist, and can't stretch it." I woefully replied. "No, this is a Gary Fisher, and you have a lifetime warranty on your frame for as long as you live. This is a legitimate fracture, you weren't hit by a car or anything, you can get another." To say the least, I was shocked. They helped me look up Gary Fisher dealers in the city, and three weeks later, like a phoenix from the ashes, Gary Fisher sent me a NEW bike to replace the old one. I can never thank them enough at LifeCycle. Their knowledge of everything bike is astounding.”

“I had an absolutely great experience buying a bicycle at Life Cycle! I had been looking to buy a new bike for several months and had checked out many bike stores in Eugene and Portland. I finally decided to purchase my bike at Life Cycle and I’m so glad I did. The crew there are fantastic! Even though I have been biking for a few decades, I had a lot of questions concerning the most current bikes. Justin and Gilad were both willing and patient while answering all of my (many) questions, and were so knowledgeable about the products. Justin went out of his way to make sure I bought the perfect bike for me, rather than trying to sell me the most expensive one. He spent a long time showing me the specs on two different bikes. I walked away feeling thrilled about the bike I bought. Because they are so thorough with each customer, occasionally you have to wait your turn to be helped, but it’s well worth it for the individualized attention you will receive. After buying my bike I’ve been back for my 20 hour check-up and I’ve still continued to receive great care. Everyone at Life Cycle is not only concerned about how the bike is put together, but also how it fits you and how it continues to ride long after you’ve bought it. I really appreciate the care and detail that Steve, one of the mechanics, has shown towards my bike every time he has worked on it. The guys at Life Cycle are clearly part of a great team, and they all add so much to the shop. Justin and Steve were great about talking to me regarding different physiological symptoms I’ve previously experienced while riding my bike and finding solutions to resolve them. I’ve recommended this shop to all of my friends, and think it is a great place to go, whether you are a racer looking for a high end bike or a college kid looking for a tune up!”

ROCK STARS THEY ARE!
“These guys we're/are absolutely fantastic ! Called to rent a few high end road bikes and spoke w/co-owner Justin who went out of his way to dial me in . . . when I called back to confirm before arriving he wasn't around but had left detailed note for the other crew. When I arrived Lee lead the way in assisting me with all facets of all my needs (he is just a great people person and knows everything to do with anything you might want). After two kind days of riding, as I dropped the bikes off I was able to meet the other owner Justin who went out of his way to show me some fine carbon frame bikes @ prices I was surprised he could offer. He and his great staff treated me like family . . . This is one special bike shop that I can't wait to work with real soon. Can't give them more than 5 STARS or I would !!! ROCKS STARS THEY ARE !”

Whopping $1.50 Bill ;)
“Read the previous reviews and selected Life Cycle for a simple repair that required a special part, Took the forks into the store, they pressed in a new fork star while I waited. The bill... a whopping $1.50. I gave the person $5 and happily left the shop. When the bikes need some advanced adjustments or complex work, this store will be the place I'll go.”

Thank You Life Cycle!
“I was in Eugene for business and getting a training ride. The bike lanes in Eugene are full of all kinds of debris and hazards. I hit something and cut the sidewall on my tire causing the tube to bulge out and explode. There was no way I was going to get all the way back to my hotel like this. Replaced the tube, put the best patch I could on the tire and checked Google for the closest bike shop. Life Cycle was 2 miles away and I was able to limp into their shop. Being on a training ride I was out with out my wallet or credit cards. I let them know my situation and offered to leave my Garmin Edge 1000 as random for my return. They wouldn't let me leave anything, didn't even take down my contact info, they got me outfitted with a new tire and on my way. This was amazing, they took the word of a stranger in spandex that he would come back and pay for the tire. I ran back to the hotel and booked it over there to pay for the tire. I am very grateful for their help and when I am in need of parts in Eugene will not hesitate to give them my business. Thank you Life Cycle!”

Great Place, Great Service
“Great place, great service, and great atmosphere for a bike shop. They take care of you well and you feel welcomed every time you visit, just don't have unrealistic expectations like someone's post. If they can, they have taken care of my needs quickly and efficiently. Just have to know that they have many customers like me who wants things done now and that simply is impossible. They've have built my R3 Cervelo and as much as I've tweaked the thing, they've been patient and accommodating. Thanks guys for great service! Just wanted to voice my opinion.”

Down To Earth and Honest
“Down-to-earth honest shop. Compared to some other local bike shops here in town (including where I purchased my last bike), this shop has good service and no attitude.”

WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND!!!
“I've lived in Eugene and been biking around for about 2 years and I've probably been to every single bike shop in town. I have yet to find a better, kinder, and more knowledgeable group of guys who are willing to not only fix my bike but are ACTUALLY interested in how I'm doing! These guys are seriously some of the best techs I've met and they know their stuff. I grew up in Portland, aka the biking capital of the US and this shop beats out every shop I've been to in Portland! I also noticed that someone wrote a really negative review about these guys and if I may be honest, this guy has ABSOLUTELY no clue what he's talking about. If he wasn't happy with his purchase then it seems like it's a personal problem. This is hands down, the best bike shop in Eugene! In case you didn't get it from the entirety of this review...WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND!!!”

Best Shop In Town Hands Down!
“Best shop in town hands down! Ben got my bike ready for a four day race and it performed flawless. Zach stayed late to get my bike ready for a big day in the woods. they also support our local trail club. No attitudes from the whole crew, clean vibes all around and great shop!”

Competent and Friendly
“Competent and at the same time friendly and professional. Beginner, coming back to cycling, know-it-all veteran, weight weenie – if you have fun riding you will meet likable people interested in getting you out on a bike (even if it's your 6 year old piece from a brand they don't carry). They'll get to know you and look for ways to make riding as much fun as possible. I'm glad I found them.”
