Wheel Review
The Build: Kinlin 30mm section rims
White Industries hubs with Ti freehub body
Sapim Laser spokes
I’ve ridden these for 6 months now and have around 5,000 miles on them. Being on a budget I was looking for a wheel set which would be strong enough for the day in day out stresses of training and could be used also as a dependable race day wheel set. In short these wheels have lived up to those expectations with style. Weight is very competitive at sub 1500 grams, with 18 front and 24 rear spoke counts keeping them from flexing. Braking track is much larger then in many similar wheels I’ve used in the past making pad alignment much easier and actual braking much smoother. I’ve had zero trouble with these wheels, haven’t even needed to get them trued, but knowing that the guys at Life Cycle back their product adds an extra level of confidence you can’t get anywhere else.
Strengths: light weight, large brake tract, smooth bearings, Ti freehub is indestructible
Similar Products Used: American Classic 420’s, Rolf Vigors, Easton Vistas, Zipp 440’s
