The triathlon team/club is another local force that is quickly grabbing up Eugene talent and storming local and regional triathlons. There are two components it: the team, which pays dues and competes, and the club, which is great for the beginning triathlete. Like the road team, the triathlon team uses a list-serve to organize training times, racing, BBQs, etc. Come by the shop and sign up if you’ve ever thought about doing a triathlon.
Check out the Life Cycle Tri Blog for info about racing, training, and equipment.

U of O Cycling team- The UO road team has seen a huge influx of riders this year. Over twice the size of the 2007 team, the 25 riders who competed in this year’s collegiate conference had great results and gained a lot of fitness from the early season races this spring. The talent on the team varies from Cat. 5 to Pro. Talk to coaches Gilad or Geoff if you’re a UO student thinking about joining the team next fall. link to the team websit- HERE
